Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
Toppings & extras
  • Maple syrup
  • Fresh berries
  • Butter
  • Whipped cream
  • Sliced bananas

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 90°C (195°F) and keep a tray warm.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Whisk milk, butter (or oil), and egg in a separate bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; batter should be lumpy.
  5. Heat skillet over medium, grease lightly.
  6. Pour batter in 2–3 tbsp portions onto skillet.
  7. Cook 1–2 minutes until bubbles form, flip, then cook 1–2 minutes until golden.
  8. Transfer pancakes to oven tray to keep warm.
  9. Serve warm with toppings.
