Method
- Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out puff pastry, trim, cut slits, and refrigerate.
- Melt butter in oven-safe pan over medium heat, add sugar, and cook until golden caramel.
- Add apples, soften for 10 minutes, then flip and cook another 8–10 minutes.
- Lay pastry over apples, tuck edges, and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
- Flip tart onto a plate while hot, then cool slightly before serving.
