Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar (white or brown)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract splash
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed bananas
Additional toppings
  • Butter or cooking spray for the pan
  • Maple syrup
  • Fresh fruit (bananas, berries)
  • Whipped cream
  • Nut butter or chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Combine wet ingredients and mashed bananas.
  3. Mix wet and dry until just combined.
  4. Heat pan and grease lightly.
  5. Pour batter and cook until bubbles form, then flip.
  6. Cook until golden brown, then serve with toppings.
