Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp minced onion
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp steak seasoning
  • as needed Extra BBQ sauce, for brushing
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 4 pieces burger buns, toasted
Toppings
  • optional Lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles

Method
 

  1. Combine ground beef, garlic, onion, BBQ sauce, salt, and steak seasoning. Mix gently.
  2. Divide into 4 patties; indent centers slightly.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high; clean and oil grates.
  4. Grill 3–5 minutes per side; brush with BBQ sauce and add cheese in last minute.
