Ingredients
  

Dairy and Vegetables
  • 14 g butter
  • 80 g chopped onion
  • 80 g chopped celery
Broths
  • 4 x 400g cans chicken broth
  • 1 can vegetable broth
  • 225 g chopped cooked chicken breast
Pasta and Vegetables
  • 150 g egg noodles
  • 120 g sliced carrots
  • 1 g dried basil
  • 1 g dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and ground black pepper

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and celery; cook for 5 minutes until tender.
  3. Pour in broths, add chicken, noodles, carrots, herbs, salt, and pepper; stir well.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until noodles are tender.
