Ingredients
  

Butter and Chocolate
  • 200 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate chips
Sugar and Flavoring
  • 175 g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 75 g plain flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • Pinch pinch salt
Optional Chocolate
  • 180 g dark chocolate bar (optional), chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Line a 20cm square tin.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
  3. Mix in brown sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, stirring gently.
  5. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix just until combined.
  6. Optional: stir in chopped chocolate.
  7. Pour batter into tin; bake for 24-32 mins depending on desired texture.
  8. Cool for 10 mins in tin, then remove and cool further.
