Ingredients
  

Sauce ingredients
  • cup fresh orange juice
  • cup fresh lemon juice
  • cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ tsp grated orange zest
  • ½ tsp grated lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Fresh fruit
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 3 pieces kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 3 pieces bananas, sliced
  • 2 oranges peeled and sectioned
  • 1 cup seedless grapes
  • 2 cups blueberries

Method
 

  1. Combine orange juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, and zests in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and cool completely.
  3. Layer the prepared fruits in a large bowl.
  4. Pour the cooled sauce over the fruit and refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
