Ingredients
  

Patties
  • 600 g cold ground beef 80/20 fat ratio
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Assembly
  • 4 sesame burger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese optional
  • Optional toppings mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill on high for 10 minutes.
  2. Divide beef into 4 portions and shape into wide patties with a small center dip.
  3. Season patties on both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, flipping only once.
  5. Toast buns and add cheese in the final minute.
  6. Assemble burgers with desired toppings and serve hot.
