Ingredients
  

Salt for rimming
  • 1 medium lime juice + wedge for garnish
  • Ice Ice
  • 1.5 oz blanco or silver tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau preferred)
  • 0.25 oz agave nectar or simple syrup (optional)

Method
 

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip into salt to coat. Fill with ice.
  2. In a shaker, combine 30ml lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and agave nectar. Add ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve immediately.

Notes
