  • 4 pieces 12 oz salmon steaks bones removed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 each lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Dry salmon steaks, season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high. Add salmon steaks, sear 5 min.
  3. Flip salmon, add butter and garlic. Baste as butter melts.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, honey, red pepper flakes. Continue basting 5 min.
  5. Check for doneness (135–140°F). Spoon sauce over salmon.
  6. Garnish with parsley. Serve hot.
