Method
- Heat oil in a pan, brown sausages on all sides (6–8 min). Remove and set aside.
- Add sliced onions to pan. Cook 3–4 min until soft and golden.
- Stir in garlic. Add butter and melt.
- Stir in flour to make a paste. Cook 1 min.
- Gradually whisk in stock. Simmer 2–3 min.
- Add thyme, Worcestershire, pepper, and salt. Taste.
- Return sausages to gravy. Simmer 2 min.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes and greens.
