Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 80 ml soy sauce
  • 80 ml lemon juice
  • 120 ml olive oil
  • 60 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2.5 g salt
  • 1 pinch red pepper
Steak Preparation
  • 680 g steaks (rib-eye or New York strip)
  • 30 g butter
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire, garlic, seasoning, pepper, salt, and red pepper to make marinade.
  2. Add steaks to a bag or bowl. Pour marinade over. Chill 2 hours minimum, overnight better.
  3. Heat skillet high. Pat steaks dry. Sear 3 minutes per side.
  4. Lower heat slightly. Flip steaks 3 times over 10 minutes to desired doneness.
  5. Add butter, baste steaks. Rest 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley. Slice and serve.
